Our Sunday menu changes every week. We serve our specials roasts alongside other beautiful dishes created in sync with nature using ingredients in their prime.

STARTERS 

Wild garlic soup, marinated feta, treacle bread (V) (VG) 

Smooth chicken liver pate, rhubarb compote, toasted sourdough 

Peppered mackerel fillet, horseradish potato salad, feta, watercress    

 Goat cheese and butternut squash salad, Balsamic dress 

Crispy prawn cocktail, smashed avocado, iceberg lettuce 

ROAST 

(All our roasts are served with potatoes, cauliflower cheese, seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and pan gravy) 

Rump cap of red Sussex beef, cream of horseradish sauce 

Roast Pork, apple puree 

Cheese and red lentil loaf, onion puree (V) (VG)  

MAINS 

Beef burger, red onion marmalade, tomato chutney, lettuce, soft brioche bun 

Star Inn fish pie, crispy poached egg, rocket parmesan salad 

Lamb Rump, wild garlic new potatoes, new forest asparagus 

Cheese and leek tart, wild garlic pesto, French fries (V) 

Beer battered fish and chips, minted peas, tartar sauce, chunky chips 

DESSERTS 

Baileys Irish cream tiramisu 

Chocolate Ganache Cheesecake, chocolate pieces  

Vanilla panna cotta, strawberries, caramelised white chocolate (GF) 

Coffee walnut cake, white chocolate mousse, candied walnuts
