Served Wednesday 29th  November to Friday 29th December, lunch and dinner Wednesday to Saturday. Not available on Sundays.

Starters 

Stuffing scotch egg, pickled red cabbage, apple and watercress salad, cranberry ketchup

Parsnip soup, pickled pear, blue cheese and walnut soda bread (V)

Terrine of pheasant, quince poached and jelly, winter pickles and sour dough toast

Main Courses

Roasted partridge breast, caramelised sprouts and bacon, potato rosti, red wine sauce

Roasted pollock, winter vegetable fish chowder, wilted kale, lemon

Mushroom, onion and sage sausage roll, celeriac remoulade, crispy broccoli, homemade brown sauce  (V)

Desserts

Christmas steam sponge pudding, brandy custard, caramel ice cream

Chocolate and orange posset, clementines, crystallised pistachios, cinnamon shortbread biscuits

Poached apple in mulled wine, bread and butter pudding, vanilla ice cream
